CareerLeader® University Site License Information

This site license information pertains only to universities using CareerLeader with their current, graduate-level students. Please also review information about our site license program for undergraduate students, alumni, and for corporate settings.

Please also note that the fee structure noted below is only available to universities, not individual students. Students should be aware that universities provide a great deal of administrative support to their use of CareerLeader, which is what allows us to offer this nearly 80% educational discount. In turn, students should expect schools to add on a modest service fee to help defray their costs in providing this support. The end result is still a tremendous savings for students, and we're grateful for the partnership and assistance of our colleagues at universities around the world who help us bring CareerLeader to their students.

Pricing

• Pricing: we offer a substantial educational discount off our usual retail fee. Please email us for details.
• Minimum initial purchase is for 50 students.
• There are no set-up costs.
• We invoice your school directly; how you pass on the cost to your students is something you handle yourself.
• You are only charged when a student registers with us. Students whom you authorze to use CareerLeader, but who elect not to register, are not charged.
• Purchased accounts are good for two years; any unused student accounts automatically roll over from the 1st year to the 2nd year.
• We'll create a CareerLeader homepage for your school which is your students' first point of access to the program; the page is password-protected with a school-wide username & password (ie, it's the same for every student).
• You don't need to know student names when setting up the site license. However, we do ask that you provide us with names of students whom you are authorizing to use the program. This allows us to ensure that you won't pay for usage by non-authorized individuals. Note that authorizing a student incurs no charge. The fee is accrued only when a student registers to use CareerLeader.

• Students register themselves and can begin using CareerLeader immediately upon registration. Student registration info is unique & confidential (see our privacy policy statement).
• Each student will be allowed to take each of our tests twice apiece, and will have unlimited access to all pages on our website as long as they are current students.
• All student technical support is handled via email. Over 95% of student inquiries are fully resolved within one business day.

• We offer day-long training sessions at various times and locations throughout the year. We only charge our expenses (typically $100/person if the event is large enough) for these sessions.
• Our counseling staff is available for appointments by telephone with you or your staff to help you out with any difficult student cases, or to assist in your use of CareerLeader's interpretive tools, etc. There is no charge for these half-hour appointments.
• We provide an online University Administrator's website where you can manage your use of CareerLeader directly (check on account status, see which students have registered, review student test results, schedule an appointment with our staff, etc.)
• Otherwise, everyday client support is normally handled via email.

Privacy Policy

We will not use any of the personal information you submit to our website, except:

• to assist in solving any technical problem or issue with CareerLeader®, CareerLeader-College™, and/or TalentRetainer™, or
• to inform you about new CareerLeader®, CareerLeader-College™, and/or TalentRetainer™, options and services that are available to you.

Specifically, we will not distribute or make available any of your test results or your email address to any third party for any reason whatsoever.

Only we (and, if you are a student or client at a university or company with a site license, your career services officials and career researchers ) will have access to your registration info and test results.

We do reserve the right to use, in aggregate and without any personal identification, test results to help further our research efforts.
